 Washed in from the sea were these  22 caliber bullets from an officers gun

 




Sometime between 1943 and 1945 a hungry soldier stopped his training for a snack. He then rolled the top of a ration can off and discarded it. Over 60 years later with advanced technology it was recovered from the ocean.
 




This is the 50 caliber projectile that led me to find Camp Wellfleet. I gave this along with almost every other artifact i found to former Camp Wellfleet member Victor Chapman.

 





Pennies that fell from an officers pocket some 50 years ago. Most are dated 1942.

 





Sediline torch recovered from under 2 feet of sand.
